The affordable housing program was developed by HUD to provide residents struggling with the current economy with an affordable home in which to reside. The rents are a flat fee and set by the individual community, and do not fluctuate based on income. Our rents are typically between 30-40% below market. Affordable Housing is available to all residents who qualify, and each individual community has different qualifying criteria. The shuttle service is described as “complimentary to hotel guests,” however anyone can ride it. On their website, Sam’s Town says that hotel guests get first priority, followed by anyone with a “B Connected” card, which is the player’s card for Sam’s Town, the California, and other Boyd Gaming properties.
